About Lynn Harrison
Good Tidings by Lynn Harrison (lynnmwth)
Artists who have influenced me are: Claude Monet, Gwen Frostic, Louis Comfort Tiffany, Keith Guo Ji Liang, Annie Vallotton, and Vera Neumann. I discovered the art of Claude Monet on the back of a Reader's Digest magazine. Later, I checked out every book on art and architecture, a few at a time, from the library in Jackson, Michigan. One of my favorite styles of painting is Impressionism, which has such beautiful colors.
The Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings,
To proclaim the opening of the prison to them that are bound,
To comfort all that mourn,
To give unto them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness,
That He might be glorified.
And they shall repair the desolations of many generations.
(Isaiah 61:1-4 KJV)
